1. Booking and Payments
- A booking is confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received.
- All prices are subject to change until full payment is made and are dependent on supplier availability.
Bookings are governed by both LA TIARA WANDERERS and third-party supplier terms (such as airlines, hotels, and transport providers).
2. Changes & Cancellations
- To change or cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.
- Deposits are non-refundable, and additional supplier fees may apply.
- Refunds, when possible, exclude non-recoverable costs.
- LA TIARA WANDERERS reserves the right to modify or cancel itineraries due to supplier issues, travel restrictions, or events beyond our control.
- In such cases, we’ll offer an alternative or partial refund where possible.
3. Traveller Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring personal details and documents (passport, visa, vaccination, insurance) are valid and accurate.
- Complying with travel rules, laws, and supplier policies.
- Being on time for check-ins, transfers, and activities.
LA TIARA WANDERERS cannot be held liable for missed services, denied boarding, or travel interruptions due to traveller error.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover:
- Cancellations and delays
- Medical expenses
- Lost or stolen belongings
- Emergencies or unforeseen events
5. Pricing & Liability
- All prices are “from” rates and may vary due to supplier costs or currency changes.
- LA TIARA WANDERERS acts as an agent between travellers and third-party suppliers.
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or defaults of suppliers.
- Our liability, where applicable, is limited to the total amount paid for your booking.
6. Complaints
- Please report any issue immediately to your tour leader, local supplier, or LA TIARA WANDERERS representative.
- Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days after travel. We’ll do our best to resolve matters fairly and promptly.
7. Privacy Policy
Your personal information is collected solely for booking and communication purposes.
We handle all data in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
8. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for losses, cancellations, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control — such as natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or strikes. In such cases, we’ll work to minimize disruption and assist with alternative arrangements where possible.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
- Any disputes will be handled by the South African courts.
10. Updates
- LA TIARA WANDERERS may update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- The version effective at the time of booking will apply to your travel.
